Abstract
The title of this thesis is “Methapore in lyrics of Lemon song by Kenshi Yonezu”This study aims to analyze the of metaphorical lyric contained in Kenshi Yonezu Lemon song that orientates the concept of space to the theory of orientational metaphor Jhonsen & Lakkof (2003). This research method is a descriptive method with the following steps: listening to songs, looking for song lyrics transcripts on the internet, classifying the songs that contain orientational metaphors, analyzing data, and drawing conclusions from the data. It can be concluded that metaphor is used by writer to describe his ‘real meaning’ that can not be described with ‘ordinary’ words.
